The Master Maintenance and Facilities Planner is responsible for planning all maintenance activities to ensure greater efficiencies in equipment reliability throughout our Timonium, MD manufacturing facility and the Baltimore Distribution Center (BDC). This role is responsible for returning and establishing manufacturing equipment to its design capability, all while continuously improving reliability through planned maintenance. Prioritizing these work activities and understanding the business impact is critical. This role will report directly to the Facilities Manager to ensure there is alignment on priorities along with planning for future all while delivering a successful, reliable maintenance plan to support reliability production for the manufacturing floors.
Effectively prioritize maintenance work activities that have the highest impact on plant operations.
Read and understand the Standard Operating Procedure for Maintenance Facilities.
Learn and follow standard work for all areas within Maintenance Facilities.
Conduct Daily 5S activities and use the tools available within a Maintenance Facilities (DM, PSP, PD).
Partner with team members, and train associates, as required, in all areas within a Maintenance Facilities.
Follow quality standards for all equipment within a Maintenance Facilities.
Ensure safe work conditions and identify/improve environmental health and safety.
Must be able to read and write complex statements.
Able to analyze, memorize and conduct and comprehend mathematical tasks.
Can make decisions and have sound judgment.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Ability to stand, sit, stoop, bend, walk, reach, squat, kneel, push and pull for long periods of time.
Able to climb a ladder and flex the upper and lower body.
Review all incoming Maintenance work orders and PMs and assess urgency and need.
Daily schedule with Maintenance associates to clearly identify who does what and when.
Support continuous improvement/problem solving.
Maintain AMMS or CMS software.
Maintain maintenance inventory of parts/needs.
Attend daily team communication meetings.
Bachelor of Science Degree
5 or more years’ experience in Maintenance or Facilities Planning, including administration of Preventative Maintenance Program
