What you'll do
Having experience on NPIs for single use application and make strategy to promote regional and global launched NPIs and for increased market share.
Responsible to provide pre- and post-sales support for the Single Use Solutions – Xcellerex / WAVE product portfolio, product demonstrations, applications support, technical presentations, team selling activities, and customer product training within an assigned region.
Improve customer satisfaction and retention through troubleshooting and continuing education and optimization of customer processes.
Maintain effective communication within commercial team and customers & gather information on the customers' needs and relay that information to the sales force to identify present and future customer needs.
Use market data and product knowledge to assist sales teams in developing sales, marketing, and customer account sales strategies.
Provide competitive product insight and provide regular feedback on customer satisfaction and needs to internal stakeholders.
Provide leadership on Xcellerex/ WAVE/Mixers/Bins hardware and consumables sales through applications, marketing & sales support collateral, and competitors' portfolios.
Champion Practical Process Improvement (PPI) initiatives and Design in activities.
Serve as a technical expert for cell culture and microbial processes and Cytiva single-use bench- and large-scale bioreactor systems internally and for biopharmaceutical/biotechnology customers.
Know how on the operations of a Biopharmaceutical industry with hands on experience with Upstream unit operations.
Understanding on process flow for various types of Applications such as mAbs, Vaccines, Cell and Gene therapy etc.
Knowledge and understanding of all Global Privacy and Anti-Competition Policies (including but not limited to Cytiva HIPPA Guidelines, NEMA Regulations, etc.) and operates within them to ensure that no company policy or US / Int'l Law is broken.
Knowledge and understanding of all Environmental Health and Safety Policies (including but not limited to Cytiva EHS Policies, Cytiva Fleet Rules, etc.) and operate within them to ensure that no company policy or US / Int'l Law is broken.
Aware of and comply with the Cytiva Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position.
Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines. Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required.
Drive continuous improvement on all related processes, work instructions, and procedures to ensure ongoing standardization and simplification of the Quality Management System.
Who you are
Minimum postgraduate degree (MSc or PhD) in a relevant science/engineering with 5+ years of experience of scientific laboratory experience in cell culture, process development work for upstream cell culture processes from shake flask to pilot scale.
Good understanding or experience in diverse workflows such as Monoclonal Antibody, vaccine, Viral vector for development, production and process control.
Experience in tech transfer or scale-up of upstream process.
Strong, working knowledge of Upstream and Perfusion unit operations.
Experience in biologics, cell therapy or gene therapy processes.
Ability to work in a team and leadership qualities with proven experience, and success working cross functionally with various teams are desirable.
Good customer service experience is desirable.
Understanding of cGMP, validation and regulated environments for bioprocessing.
Strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills. Strong presentation skills (public speaking and lecture experience desired)
Proficient in English verbal and written communication.
Independent self-starter who can work to achieve or exceed defined goals.
Senior Bioreactor Application Scientist candidate would be required to satisfy in advanced experience in the technical/scientific criteria.
Experience with the Cytiva UNICORN, Wonderware, Emerson DeltaV, or other control systems desirable.#LI-SS3
