Senior HR Manager, Japan & Korea

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for leading and overseeing the human resources function in Japan and Korea

  • Develop the organization and talents to meet corporate goals and to position it for continued growth in the future. Also responsible to run HR and payroll shared service for Japan and Korea.

  • Maintain a strong internal HR/GA management system. And work closely with the Japan and Korea management team and participate in monthly management meetings as a strong business partner, providing sound business advice regarding all HR related issues.

  • Lead and develop team by establishing annual goals; hiring and training new associates; and coaching, monitoring and appraising individual performance through the use of policy deployment tools and top grading processes with a focus on kaizen and continuous improvement

  • Develop, implement systems on human resources and prepare regular reports and/general administration status results.

  • Regular communication with global/regional counterparts such as the Corporate HR, Danaher, and other Leica HR colleagues. Ensure legal compliance and liaise with the organization’s external advisors, such as Lawyers and Tax accountants, as required.

YOUR PROFILE

  • Minimum 12 years proven working experience in HR in a multinational company.

  • BS Degree in business administration, or equivalent

  • Language: Good command of business English and Japanese

  • Knowledge of HR systems and databases with demonstrable experience of HR metrics

  • Acute knowledge in-depth knowledge of Japanese and Korean labor law and HR best practices

  • Management experience overseeing Human Resources and general administration team.
