Hach has established the stable/strong footprint in Japanese market, while Non-Hach Water Quality companies is making a growth with channel partners. Due to the volume of the business growth and preference of the local communication, OTT/Trojan business manager (sale representative) in Japan.
The position is responsible for the relationship management with Channel Partners of WQP and Business development of WQP, except Hach core business. There are some successful Channel Partners, and the company expect the position will promote good relationship and support to them. Additionally, Some field, WQP exploit the new channel and relationship with Direct customer.
The first main focus areas are OTT channel partner and Trojan business development.
The secondary focus area will be chosen based on the strategy.
-Channel develop/maintenance: Establish and maintain right promotional channel to expose our solutions and to deliver claims to its target customers when carrying out promotional activities. Japan is the owner of distributor channel strategy and execution in Japan. The key focus is to build distributor channel strategy including assessment of distributors, enhancement of communication and lead management. Assess and Optimize distributors channel in each region and market segment
- Manage and Create distributor strategy and roadmap and action planning with sales managers and other function.
- Collaborate with peers overseas to deploy distributor strategy.
- Collaborate with peers overseas: Solve the daily and long-term issues by communicating the issues precisely to the internal teams (product manager, inside sales etc.)
- Manage and improve the effective communication process to distributors to deliver end customers including digital channel.
- Manage and Optimize the operational commercial process to/from distributors. The framework of business varies on the each operation WQ companies.
-Customer communication: Work cross-functionally with commercial team to make and deliver customer communication material/documents.
-Utilization of tools: Drive lead generation/nurturing and optimization effectively by applying market data tool, marketing automation tool and CRM platforms. Measure performance optimally by using analytics tools and platforms.
-Develop accurate and realistic annual budget plans and monitor performance to budget for distributors.
Cover Water Treatment System Integrator-Some cases, the items are OEM/
Channel Partner Management experience and/or working in a Weather or Water Treatment System integrator handling experience. (5 years +).
Sales job experience is mandatory (5 years +).
Deep understanding of Japanese distributor channel business (meteorology or industrial)
- Business level writing/verbal communication skills in both Japanese and English. (Writing Communication is more frequent).
-Background of Technical Knowledge related job experience (Preferably Meteorology field but not limited).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Powerpoint, Excel, Word).
Highly motivated with the ability to work independently under ambiguity and operate with minimal oversight. The person is locally one-man division at the beginning and growth is driven by the person.
Self-management and problem-solving capability.
The position may require 30% of travel.
