GENERAL SUMMARY:The primary responsibility of a Customer service representative is to provide the highest quality of customer service to internal & external customers. Process sales orders, create production orders, provide accurate lead times, answering inquires, and maintaining the customer file.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Understanding the functionalities of an ERP system

  • Process sales order/RMAs with attention to detail with a high percentage of accuracy. (Manual, CRM, and Phone)

  • Provide accurate lead times on items not in stock

  • Data integrity gate keeper. All approvals must be present to process any information within the system.

  • Answer customer inquiries professionally and in a timely manner both written and verbal

  • Create production orders for special batch requests

  • Create direct delivery orders from Vendors

  • Provide daily report of sales orders processed and not processed

  • Professional communications with various departments both written and verbal

  • Support the sales team

  • Process change orders

  • All duties include but are not limited to the above

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) in none required

  • Ensures all work is accurate and free of errors / defects

  • Requires analytical thinking and presenting ideas

  • Experience in Microsoft office and Database management
