We are currently seeking a D365 F&O (Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations) supply chain and manufacturing business analyst, whose main responsibility is to analyze and optimize the supply chain and manufacturing processes within the D365 F&O system. Your role involves understanding business requirements, identifying areas for improvement, and providing functional expertise to ensure the successful implementation and utilization of D365 F&O in supply chain and manufacturing operations.

This role will be responsible for Requirements Gathering, Process Analysis and Optimization, Continuous Improvement. Collaborating with stakeholders from the supply chain and manufacturing departments to gather and document business requirements. This includes understanding current processes, pain points, and desired outcomes. Analyzing existing supply chain and manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement and optimization. This includes evaluating process flows, data structures, and system configurations to align them with best practices and industry standards. Identifying opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains within the supply chain and manufacturing operations. This involves analyzing data, monitoring performance metrics, and proposing enhancements or optimizations.

Involved in System Configuration, Solution Design, Documentation : Translating business requirements into system configuration settings within the D365 F&O system. This includes configuring supply chain and manufacturing parameters, defining master data structures, and setting up workflows to support streamlined operations. Working closely with technical teams and functional consultants to design and map supply chain and manufacturing processes into the D365 F&O system. This includes identifying gaps, proposing solutions, and ensuring alignment between business needs and system capabilities. Maintaining accurate documentation of system configurations, process flows, and user guides to ensure knowledge transfer and future reference.

Testing and Validation, User Training and Support. Conducting testing activities to ensure that the system meets the defined requirements. This includes creating test scenarios, executing tests, and documenting any issues or defects encountered.Providing training and support to end-users, including supply chain and manufacturing personnel, on how to effectively utilize D365 F&O for their daily tasks. This may involve creating user guides, conducting workshops, and addressing user queries or issues. Data Analysis and Reporting, analyzing supply chain and manufacturing data within the D365 F&O system to identify trends, patterns, and insights. This includes creating reports, dashboards, and performance metrics to measure and monitor the efficiency and effectiveness of operations.

The essential requirements for the role include:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, supply chain, finance, business or related fields

  • 5 years experience supporting supply chain and operations modules within ERP systems, including 5 years experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX/365 F&O or a combination of different ERP systems along with D365 F&O specifically with operations and supply chain modules.

  • Working knowledge of operations and supply chain

  • Strong knowledge of inventory and warehouse management and advanced warehouse management
