Do you want to work in a dynamic IT team environment?

We are currently seeking a IT Service Desk Lead/Supervisor who will supervise the day-to-day operations of the IT service desk technical support team. Identifies, researches, and resolves complex technical problems. Creates and manages escalation procedures and ensures service levels are maintained. Documents, tracks, and monitors problems to ensure resolution in a timely manner. This is a Hands-On position.

What we’ll get you doing:

  • Monitor day-to-day analyst input within ticket system and present helpdesk KPI's to leadership

  • Plans, prioritizes, assigns, supervises and reviews the work of assigned staff performing a variety of work activities within helpdesk

  • Lead Helpdesk team to troubleshoot and resolve Level 1 and 2 software, network and phone systems problems for local and remote personnel

  • Coordinates and evaluates section operations and activities; recommends and implements improvements and modifications; and prepares various reports on operations and activities for management.

  • Build and maintain relationships with all business units to ensure that IT-delivered services and end-user productivity goals are understood and exceeded

    The essential requirements of the role include:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in computer science or equivalent experience certification

  • 2+ of leadership, management or prior supervisory experience leading teams of up to 5+ team members

  • 5+ years of hands-on technical support experience working in large enterprise-level environments supporting Microsoft Office 2016/365, Windows 7/10/11, desktop, printers, and laptops.

At Phenomenex we believe in designing a better, more sustainable workforce. This position is an Onsite role located at Torrance, CA. The salary range for $100K thru $113,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
