GENERAL SUMMARY: As product commercialization technician you will need to capture/manage process flows and action items like verification/validation of column packing in the pre-product launch phase. Furthermore, you will be responsible to capture the development procedures and partner with R&D to create a complete Technology Transfer package. Additionally you will be required to partner with Production teams providing training on new product and validating the results in production environment. This position will also assist in investigating continual improvements in overall manufacturing (HPLC, Coreshell, GPC/GFC, AXIA.) Thus we require the candidates with excellent organizational and technical writing skills.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Revise and/or create documentation and/or Standard operating procedures for new product technology transfers to manufacturing. 2. Initiate & Follow-up with R&D on method development during the pre-launch phase of new product launches 3. Assist in implementing technology transfer in manufacturing via buddy training/and or create new Standard operating procedures. 4. Create, submit and maintain Technology transfer projects 5. Partner with production on issues/concerns with new product launches 6. Perform troubleshooting, problem solving, and support functions for manufacturing and testing processes 7. Develop training tools and technique reference guides for manufacturing processes 8. Track the progress of yield rate on all new product launch part numbers 9. Manage and Track progress of new Technology Transfers from R&D.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: - Requires analytical thinking and presenting ideas - At least 2 years of experience in manufacturing environment - AA degree in Science or Life science preferred - Attention to detail, pay specific attention to tasks - Sound judgment and reasoning - Strong organizational skill, plans and assigns resources in a detailed fashion
