We are looking for an experienced, collaborative, and communicative Finance analyst for our Downstream Hardware and Consumables Finance team.

As the Finance Analyst, you will act as a trusted finance business partner to managers and management teams in our R&D and Product management teams, ensuring solid financial insights are applied in decision making processes. You will also be the right-hand person to the Business unit Finance manager, coordinating financial activities cross product and supply chain functions to understand and add value to the overall financial performance of the business unit.

This position is based in Uppsala and will be an on-site role. At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

Support the overall Business unit financial activities with:

  • Coordinating financial activities cross product and supply chain functions to understand and add value to the overall financial performance of the business unit.

  • Leading finance reviews with senior leadership and assist with management reporting and communicate results to managers.

  • Coordinate multiple functions by helping align demand and supply expectations, maintaining dialogue with the regional commercial organizations.

  • Identify opportunities for growth and margin expansion with insightful business analysis.

  • Support profitable growth by identifying & tracking key metrics and advising the leadership team on risks, opportunities, and recommended actions.

  • Driving financial analysis for strategic projects.

    Be the finance business partner for our Downstream Hardware R&D and Product management teams and support with:

  • Driving visibility to business performance through budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes

  • Supporting strategic decisions by putting together business cases for investments such as R&D and capital expenditures

    You will also:

  • Effectively coach/develop the COE finance analyst supporting this role.

  • Identify efficiency and improvement opportunities within financial reporting, i.e. develop and improve financial processes: finance reporting tools, management reporting tools, budgeting and estimating processes.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bsc. or Msc. in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration.

  • Several years’ work experience from developing forecasts & operating plans and leading business / finance reviews in industrial companies.

  • Strong excel skills and experience with financial systems/applications (i.e.: Oracle, SAP, OneStream, Business Objects, etc.).

  • Proficient in English and Swedish with excellent communication skills .

    As a person you have strong analytic skills and can clearly link financial results to operational performance drivers, generate alternatives and drive positive change. You also have strong influencing skills across business functions and excellent communication skills with ability to clearly communicate complex financial information in an easy-to-understand manner. You are a clear thinker and problem-solver and keep an open mind to change. Important is also that you have a high integrity, i.e., accepting and adhering to high moral, ethical, and personal values in decisions, communications, actions, and when dealing with others.
