We’re looking for our next Technical Project Manager to join the Biacore R&D Hardware team. The Biacore R&D Hardware team consists of 8 skillful engineers within mechanical design, electrical design and optics engineering. Together, the team strives to develop the best Surface Plasmon Resonance (SPR) products on the market.

In the role as Technical Project Manager, your responsibility will be to lead our Product Care and Sustainability work related to our existing Biacore products. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders across several internal departments and functions such as R&D, Sourcing, Manufacturing, and Quality as well as external suppliers to ensure progress and continuous production capability. The position is based in Uppsala and will be an onsite role.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead our Product care work of our existing product portfolio.

  • Prioritize, apply for resources and follow up on ongoing cases.

  • Lead Change boards and report progress to leadership teams.

  • Follow up and help finalize tasks to ensure continuous production capability.

    Who you are

  • Previous experience working as a Project Manager.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Engineering, or related field. A Mechanical or Electrical Engineering profile is preferred.

  • Well-versed in Waterfall project management methods, including key elements like scheduling, risk management, cost-tracking, change management, stakeholder management, etc.

  • Understanding of Agile project management methods.

  • Fluency in English as well as excellent communication and presentation skills.

  • Valid Swedish Work Permit

    It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Master’s Degree in Science, Engineering or related field. A Mechanical or Electrical Engineering profile is preferred.

  • Fluency in Swedish.
