What you’ll do:
Lead and coordinate all manufacturing activities on a global basis and ensuring the establishment of manufacturing strategies and programs in each site that will achieve the key operating imperatives.
Develop and design best-in-class Operations organization, processes and procedures based on expert understanding, industry experience and insights into future direction. Create site strategies that ensure our global footprint is designed to support the current business and future acquisitions. Supporting international expansion and improved synergies across the Operating Company.
Lead Capex decisions, capacity assurance via S&OP, forecasting review and demand planning, cost reduction assessment to achieve financial targets, and New Product Introduction transition from design to manufacturing as well as leading Policy Deployment activities to ensure the sites are aligned with appropriate priorities.
Develop and manage continuous improvement projects (CIPs) focused on significant cost reductions while improving product and process quality.
Analyze critical financial and operational information from each site to ensure compliance with established targets and goals, in support of the overall business financial and operating plan.
Establish a CMO organization responsible for transferring equipment from custom manufacturing to standard and support standardization and in-sourcing of higher volume products. Drive manufacturing strategy across standard and customized instrument.
Responsible for talent management to ensure the continued development for direct reports. Partner closely with the human resources organization in developing organizational capabilities through succession planning, organizational assessment, identification of key skill gaps, talent acquisition and talent development strategies that link with business goals.
Increase management effectiveness by recruiting, selecting, training, and coaching managers, and holding them accountable to their role as managers; Communicate values, strategies, and objectives; Assign accountabilities.
Promote and deploy Danaher Business Systems (DBS) to achieve break-through performance in Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost.
Ensure a safe work environment and follow all existing laws and regulations.
Who you are:
Master or MBA degree in Engineering or similar
Significant experience working with shown leadership in manufacturing or supply chain management.
Great presentation skills, proven both internally and towards customers
Excellent project management, communication and analytical skills
Creates energy to deliver company goals through creation and comprehensive communication of practical "hands-on" operational plans and strategies
Growth leadership skills demonstrating clear perspective and understand factors impacting our businesses and our suppliers
Energizing others by building a connection with the team through personal involvement and trust, providing feedback and coaching to help develop others
Good level of Swedish language required, fluency in Swedish preferred
Ability to successfully empower and maintain high moral, employee involvement, safety and teamwork as well as experience of working across multiple cultures.
Understanding customer needs, marketplace dynamics, industry trends, the competitive landscape in the industry/function considering the external impact of business activities
