For our ever-evolving Benelux region, we are looking for a Technical Sales Consultant to support our key customers and developing market in the Netherlands! In this exciting role, you will be responsible for maintaining and managing a sales territory and large pharmaceutical customers. With focus on implementing a regional sales strategy, you will be able to meet and exceed sales, gross profit and unit goals, whilst also providing service and technical support to customers on a regular and ongoing basis.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Selling Chromatography consumables, and providing technical support, customer service and troubleshooting to your key customer base in the Netherlands;

  • Identifying new prospective buyers within your territory, and originating communication with customers via phone and email;

  • Arranging customer face -to-face meetings, product/training presentations and attending conferences;

  • Managing your sales territory as if it were your own business, ensuring the territory meets sales, profit, and unit goals;

  • Developing relationships with new and existing customers;

  • Developing business plans, market analysis, and sales strategies;

  • Consistently maintaining a positive and entrepreneurial attitude, being a team player, striving to develop and contributing to our company culture.

    Your Background:

  • We are open to junior candidates willing to grow their career in a technical and commercial position, in a fast-developing life science organization;

  • Bachelor or Master Degree in Chemistry or Life Sciences is a plus, but we are also open to candidates with a commercial background;

  • Internship experience in an international matrix organization and business-to-business environment is strongly preferred;

  • Fluent working proficiency in the English language is a must, proficiency in the Dutch language is a plus.

  • Laboratory experience and technical knowledge of chromatography is plus;

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written;

  • Motivation and desire to be successful with a “can do” approach and commercial mindset;

  • Analytical thinking and able to confidently present ideas to customers and other stakeholders;

  • Strong organizational skills, ability to plan and assign resources in a detailed fashion;

  • Self-starter attitude and able to work in a remote setting;

  • Eligible to work in the Netherlands and in possession of a valid driver´s license.
