We are currently looking for a Field Service Engineer, who will support our customers across Spain and occasionally in Portugal, partnering with the rest of the team.
Conduct service, repair and/or installation of products or IT solutions at customer site, including electrical and mechanical testing, in accordance with maintenance contracts
Diagnose system failures and figures out most cost-effective solution. Escalates complex issues to greater level of technical support or quality reporting system
Coordinate own work schedule with relevant partners
Produce timely and accurate reports of own activities
Be aligned with the local commercial organization (sales & support) and informs customers of other product and services. May develop new customer service/product agreements.
Professional qualification OR a bachelor’s degree in electronic/mechanical engineering/chemistry
At least 3 years field service experience within life sciences and diagnostics industry. Knowledge of Mass Spectrometry/Liquid Chromatography is highly appreciated
Fluent Spanish and English, in written and spoken. Portuguese would be a plus
Computer literate, familiar with IT applications and Networking
Customer centric: understand customers’ needs and deliver an excellent service
Flexible, structured and a real team player
Willingness to travel across Spain, when needed also to Portugal, for Customer visits
