The Facility & EHS Specialist for Cytiva is responsible for maintaining a split role for Facility & Environment, Health and Safety. Primary tasks will be developing, implementing, and evaluating safety policies and procedures and to some extend be involved in the compliance and insurance of product EHS alongside various facility areas.
This position is part of the Cytiva Denmark Manufacturing site located in Vallensbæk Strand and will be an onsite position. The production site is producing Agarose, which is an important ingredient in the chromatography resin production which Cytiva is a market leading supplier of.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Provide leadership and technical expertise in the development of strategies, programs, and training to ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and company standards, improve safety and reduce/eliminate EHS related business risks.
To maintain time tracking system (FLEX).
Managing access controls to the site and outside maintenance of facility ground.
Interface with external EHS agencies and business continuity plan.
Partner with business/functional/DBS leaders on the development and implementation of action plans that drive closure of open issues and improvements resulting in improved safety performance and environmental controls.
Reporting of various EHS KPI’s to the authorities and internally into the Cytiva / Danaher organization.
The essential requirements of the job include:
You have a technical background either preferably within Engineering or similar technical degree.
You possess a good ability to explain and anchor decisions within EHS related aspects, and nurture collaboration with others to get the challenges solved.
You are motivated to drive change, take initiative, and can handle issues with a high degree of independence.
You are a skilled communicator in both Danish and English.
