About the Professional Services Team Lead role:

This role is responsible for ensuring professional services are delivered in a timely fashion in accordance with project requirements. You will work with the Professional Services Manager and other team leads to establish best practices for Aquatic Informatics' (AI) professional service delivery, track the accuracy of professional service effort estimates, and ensure your team’s project delivery schedule is maintained. It is expected that the Team Lead will contribute to customer implementations. You will be responsible for the long-term contribution of a team of individual contributors, provide coaching and mentoring, handle compensation, and actively support your team’s career development.

  • Manage a Professional Service team with respect to milestones, activities, and goals ensuring the successful delivery of services including:

  • Providing weekly updates on the team’s deliverables, highlighting any risks to implementation schedules.

  • Building and ensuring the long-term success of your team and all of its members.

  • Develop and maintain productive relationships with Account Management, Sales, Technical Sales, Support, and Product Development teams.

  • Coordinate with the Customer Support Manager to prioritize issues blocking the progress of professional service delivery for the product development team.

  • Providing assistance to the Sales and Technical Sales teams by establishing and maintaining standard services and estimating custom professional services for customers.

  • Engage with customers that have purchased Aquatic Informatics’ professional services (integrations, migrations, requests for custom development, etc.). This may include:

  • Accurately and completely documenting the as-is and to-be states of the customer’s workflows, data, functional and non-functional requirements.

  • Developing proposals for solutions based on best practices.

  • Formally documenting findings and presenting proposed solutions to clients.

  • Coordinating project meetings.

  • Tracking, communicating, and following up on day-to-day questions from customers.

  • Maintaining the project decision and action item registers.

  • Ensuring project deployment is properly planned and communicated to the customer.

  • Travel as required for key engagements, but the expectation is no more than two weeks per quarter.

Are you qualified?

  • 5+ years in a customer-facing role

  • Associate's degree required; Post-secondary degree a plus

  • Proven track record in defining and managing software deployments into SaaS solutions that involve data migration from legacy systems.

  • Familiarity with customer-facing responsibilities and ability to learn & understand customer needs.

  • Prior leadership experience is an asset

  • Previous experience in the water and wastewater industry a plus

  • Outstanding presentation skills; clear customer advocacy; excellent organizational skills; effective teammate.

  • Strong interpersonal communication skills; Ability to communicate at all levels within the organization.

The salary range for this role is $57,000 - $76,000 USD. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in Colorado. This range may be modified in the future.
