This role is accountable for leading the sales team to facilitate the successful achievement of our ambitious growth plans. The main responsibilities include guiding the execution of current and new initiatives to achieve growth targets as well as developing new strategies that will strengthen our market-leading software position. The VP will be a member of the AQI leadership team reporting directly to the President . The role will travel 40%, including some international travel and will work remotely from the U.S. or Canada (preference for Pacific, Mountain, or Central time zones). KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead global new logo and account management teams to ensure high performance, high accountability, and outstanding customer experiences.
Build and deliver timely and accurate monthly and annual bookings, revenue, and expense forecasts.
Identify and prioritize top customer segments; develop and execute Go-to-Market Strategies that will maximize our sales and share gain potential.
Develop, maintain , and improve our commercialization strategy to expand our reach to new customers and expand our share of business with existing customers.
Identify product gaps and coordinate those product needs with the Product team while maximizing revenue from our existing product portfolio.
Participate in industry trade functions to keep abreast of market changes and opportunities.
Manage a sales opportunity funnel and ensure that the funnel represents all key opportunities available.
Leverage the synergy among the Danaher Water Quality business commercial teams and the vast portfolio of products to provide our customers with a complete and competitive solution.
Help establish commercial strategies for annual strategic plan process.
Lead with a continuous improvement mindset to utilize problem solving and going to Gemba to achieve results when goals are not met. Find energy in challenges.
Create followership across functions, operating companies, and within sales through collaboration & by leading with transparency, empathy, and self-awareness.
BACKGROUND & SKILL REQUIREMENTS :
BS Degree in Business, Engineering, or similar discipline . A Master’s Degree is a plus.
10+ years in a Commercial leadership role (Sales, Marketing, Commercial Service), with a minimum of 3 years leading others
Experience with Water Quality software products is a plus
Track record of succeeding by finding win-win situations with customers and business needs
Customer-centric approach ensuring customer needs are met with a high sense of urgency
Strong financial acumen, able to set budgetary and profitability objectives with ability to realize these objectives while still winning share in the market
Ability to successfully identify , attract, and develop high-performing talent to engage a diverse and inclusive team

Hands-on and detail-oriented but also able to see the big picture . Need to be able to think strategically and view the business from a general management standpoint.
Very customer-focused with strong interpersonal and communication skills . Will need to be a quick study who can rapidly adapt to Danaher’s culture and gain the confidence of the Danaher organization.
High energy and able to handle conflict . Will be an independent worker, capable of operating in a fast-moving, ever-changing environment and able to effectively deal with difficult situations .

The salary range for this role is $ 195 ,000 – 235 ,000 . This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range.
This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus pay.
