The FP&A and Services Accountant for Cytiva is responsible for acting as a strategic liaison between Finance and various corporate departments. This position will build relationships with senior management deploy FP&A processes to meet organizational needs. This role will also work with Contract Services group to provide analysis and reports to improve the operations and profitability of this group.

This position is part of the Finance department located in Vancouver and will be an on-site position. At Cytiva, our vision is to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.

What you’ll do:

• Responsible for monthly closing, consolidation, and reporting of the business financial results providing in-depth analytics and commentary to HQ FP&A and senior leadership

• Support and own consolidation of the annual budget and monthly forecasting processes across the business; act as a challenge function when consolidating and pacing financial performance. Continually improve accuracy and timeliness of financial projections, operating forecasts and capital expenditures

• Support monthly commercial reviews to provide visibility of bookings and revenues for the quarter and year, highlighting key changes and working with regional commercial leader in the forecasting process and highlighting risks, opportunities and mitigation plans associated with the roll-up.

• Development of BioPharma Services financial models to forecast business funnel, orders & revenues and operational execution to support growth

• Working collaboratively with team members to report on BioPharam services pricing, margins, productivity, utilization and capacity.

Who you are:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or related field with 2+ years experience OR Master's degree in field with 0+ years.

• Relevant and progressive experience in FP&A carrying out complex financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting functions.

• Strong understanding of Nanomedicine & Lipid Nanoparticle Particle business to enable the ability to “tell the story” and distill the data and numbers in a concise and clear manner.

• Must have experience working with Cytiva specific systems including OneStream, and ALERT along with advanced proficiency using MS Office, particularly Excel.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) or equivalent

• Previous experience in Life Sciences / biotechnology business would be an asset

The salary range for this role is 80,000 - 105,000 CAD. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
