Our MicroCellTM and SA25TM systems are used by leading biopharma companies around the world to develop cutting-edge drug products and life-saving therapies. The Technical Project Manager, Consumables will work within the Product Management function to drive manufacturing and operations program readiness for the single-use consumables used in our systems.

This position is part of the Aseptic Filling business (formerly known as Vanrx) and will be based at our Burnaby, BC Canada site. At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.

What you will do:

  • Manage technical transfer of manufacturing processes to an internal (to Cytiva) partner. Where necessary, build technical proficiency in single use consumables leveraging your existing skillset.

  • Lead or coordinate the cross-functional teams necessary to achieve the higher-level business objectives driving the project.

  • Lead overall project scheduling, resource management and budgeting.

  • Track and communicate project status to stakeholders of a diverse range of seniority and technical background.

Who you are:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, Business, Marketing, or equivalent, with preference for 5+ years’ experience.

  • Experience authoring and reviewing technical drawings is an asset. Experience working with external vendors is an asset.

  • Ability to understand problems from others’ perspective and bridge differences of opinion is critical. Written and oral communication skills and ability to lead presentations and/or training are strong supporting skills.

  • Flexibility to travel for reasonable durations (1-2 weeks), up to 30% total travel load. This includes domestic and international trips. (Switzerland and California)

  • Fluency in French is an asset.

The annual salary range for this role is $90,000 to $102,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
