What you’ll do
Represent Cytiva and act as a primary customer point of contact in all allocated accounts and in the territory
Growing revenue at expected sales margins and achieve annual/quarterly goals through accurate monthly/quarterly forecasting
Building relationships, maximize business opportunities in Biotech centers and Emerging Biotech for all Cytiva products and services
Prospecting , forecasting, generating proposals, making sales quotations, initiating and planning customer visits at all levels of the customer organization
Develop strategic plans for selected accounts of the Biotech business
Respond to customers from the territory, in cooperation with modalities and sales- and application specialists
Who you are
University level degree (Master or PhD) in cell-, protein sciences, molecular biology or related discipline Post-Doctoral experience in a fundamental- or applied research environment is highly desired
Sound background of current Life Sciences trends and methods, such as biomolecules and its purification, different viral, bacterial and cell systems, novel classes of vaccines, cell- and gene therapy, good understanding of cell culture, upstream and downstream processing and related consumables in fixed and single-use installations. Understanding of principles of design-in, GMP and clinical trials.
Being customer focused and understanding business drivers, using this knowledge to develop account plans and strategies. Desire to grow and expand to new business
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong team player
Persistence and tenacity in developing prospects and customers, able to close business, strong presentation-, analytical- and customer service-skills. Ability to prioritize projects and to work on long- and short term projects simultaneously.
Self-starter - able to manage time, organize and prioritize workload.
Be prepared for travel - Account Managers are expected to be in the field most of the week (70 % of work time) making customers calls and recording contacts
English language skills are a prerequisite and a second language would be a plus. Driving license class B.
