Missions

The Sales Engineer’s primary role is to manage, drive and develop (co-ordinate) the sales activities in his territory with the clear objectives of maximizing turnover and improving the profitability of the company.

Main responsibilities/ PRINCIPALES RESPONSABILITES

  • Achieve both monthly and annual sales targets. /Atteindre les objectifs de ventes mensuels et annuels/

  • Recommend and implement sales strategies to increase revenue from territory./Recommander et mettre en œuvre les stratégies commerciales pour accroitre les revenus de son secteur/.

  • Consolidate all sales information and submit accurate sales forecasts and other required documents as part of monthly report./Consolider les informations commerciales et soumettre des prévisions de ventes précises ainsi que les autres documents faisant partie du rapport mensuel/

  • Record all the information on customers into the CRM./Enregistrer toutes les informations dans le CRM/

  • Carry out and follow up quotations./Faire et suivre les offres/

  • Provide market intelligence and specific customer needs to Marketing through collection of VOC.///Fournir au Marketing des renseignements sur le marché et les besoins des clients/

  • Liaise with the Service Manager to develop joint strategy to provide best in class service and support.///Collaborer avec le Service pour développer des stratégies conjointes afin de fournir le meilleur service et support./

Qualification

Profile

  • 5 to 8 years’ experience in selling technical equipment in industry; an experience in pharmaceutical market will be appreciated./5 to 8 ans d’expérience dans la vente d’équipements techniques dans l’industrie et la connaissance du milieu de l’industrie pharmaceutique serait un plus./

  • Organized, autonomous, rigorous and dynamic./Organisé, autonome, rigoureux et dynamique/

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills./Excellente communication écrite et verbale/

  • Fluent in English;/Anglais courant/

  • Good practice of Microsoft applications Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook

  • Experience with a CRM system

  • Must be located in the Lyon’s area /Vous travaillerez en toute autonomie en Home Office qui devra être situé dans la région lyonnaise./
