Danaher Corporation After Market Sales Manager in Thailand
This position will be responsible for the development and deployment of a team of After Market Sales Representatives to proactively manage existing accounts to drive accelerated sales growth. The After Market Sales Manager is a leadership role that will be a catalyst for process and organizational development while ensuring execution of Key Performance Indicators (KPI). This position will also participate in Sales strategy and planning efforts to maximize the effectiveness of our overall sales channels.
This is a high impact position and seasoned inside sales experience is critical to the successful execution of Hach’s corporate strategy.
Drive Organizational Objectives around 3 broad objectives:
Sales – Core growth, Sales funnel expansion, acquisition of new customers
People – Build a strong team by attracting, coaching , retaining and developing best in class talent
Process – Drive customer satisfaction while delivering business results by leveraging rigorous process implementation (e.g. Funnel Management/ Problem Solving Process/ Action Planning)
Develop sales strategies/plans and reporting system to monitor and measure sales/call performance output
Manage and measure performance through the use of KPI’s and institute countermeasures where appropriate, to achieve goals, as well as performance improvement plan.
Administer compensation and incentive programs.
Active participant in sales leadership forums; advocate for sharing best practice, team player
Collect and report information on all competitive activity, business opportunities, sales trends and results within the assigned market providing input during monthly business review
Implement creative promotional programs/Sales Campaigns and develop cross-sell/up-sell skills of team
Manage to the department budget
CRITICAL COMPETENCIES / SUCCESS FACTORS
Experience in recruiting and building a successful inside/tele sales team in a consultative environment
Process orientation with a proven track record of profitable growth and an excellent reputation for leadership in driving an inside sales selling process
Delivers results with a sense of urgency; demonstrated track record of driving sales growth, customer expansion and market share growth
Business strategy creation and commercial sales experience. Familiar with and capable of analyzing the market, competitors and company strengths and weaknesses while devising winning sales strategies
Excellent analytical skills and solid business acumen
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Thrives in a fast paced, high demand environment and possess continuous improvement mentality
Bachelor’s degree required, Master would be plus
7-10 years sales management experience, progressive sales experience selling products and services in a business-to-business environment
Experience leading an Inside Sales team
Strong sales operations background leveraging CRM (ideally Salesforce.com)
Demonstrated experience increasing revenue within existing accounts by broadening or deepening product placement in a call center/tele sales environment
Having both strategic and tactical dimension and capabilities
Fluent in spoken and written English
