The Fluid Technologies (FT) Sale Manager Thailand is responsible for growth and expansion of sales and profit margins within Thailand within the Oil & Gas, Refinery, Petrochemical, Polymer market. This includes the development and day to day management of key accounts and channel partners, as well as creating, progressing and closing sales opportunities. They will also be responsible for regular reporting of activity / results and working to the FTAP management structure as well as working and coordinating with the regional STS , Service , Project and Operations teams in SEA / APAC.
Establish relationships with key accounts, customer facing (e.g. Thai Oil / SPRC / SCG Chem / Esso / Mubadallah / Chevron / Shell / FPS market ) = 40%
Channel Management – will function as a channel manager for Thailand in addition to the sales manager role –managing & drive existing or new channel partners =25%
Establish standard work around Funnel Management, distribution management, Reporting =25%
Prepare and monitor sales projections / forecast through strategic and tactical plan + coach and mentor the team =10%
Ownership of Segment/customer Forecast
Perform other duties as assigned
Bachelors’ Degree in any engineering field, particularly Chemical/Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering or equivalent.
Min. 10 years’ experience in the Thailand market (Petrochemical, Oil & Gas Upstream, Refinery)
Proven track record in managing first fit / consumables business across priority segments with market heavyweights in Thailand
Articulates a vision, builds trust and navigates the team through the results-oriented macro environment
Proven experience in sales funnel management through CRM, recovery planning and sales process to ensure success of business
Ability to grow, have strong problem solving skills and long-term vision for further career growth opportunity
Prior people management/leadership, Channel Partner Management experience preferred
Plays by the rules & articulate in managing responsibilities (Standard Work)
Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment
Absolute team player & collaborative in nature
Willing to understand organization directives and articulate execution strategies coherent to business needs
Proficiency in English & Thai
Willing to travel at least 50% across remote sites
