Reporting to the SEA Controller, the Senior accountant is responsible for overall finance and accounting activities for Pall Singapore and Philippines.

You will be responsible for ensuring the entity accounting records are maintained accurately, professionally, and efficiently, in accordance with US GAAP, and bridged to local statutory requirements. Secondly, this role closely works together with Finance Shared Service (CFS) team based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia to ensure a “no surprise” environment and timely submission of monthly results. Thirdly, this position has full responsibility on both internal and local statutory reporting, including SOX, internal audit, external audit and tax.

Key Responsibilities:

• Being the key role in finance organization in SEA, to be responsible for full sets of accounts for Thailand, across all finance functions including AP/AR/GL/FA/IC

• Ensure timely, accurate month-end closing and financial reporting in a “no surprise” environment

• Responsibility for maintaining internal financial controls, Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance and statutory audits and Danaher Internal Audits

• Work closely with local tax agent to ensure on time submission of corporate tax, and other tax queries; manage VAT submission

• Ensure a sound control environment across the entities and personally be a champion for compliance, zero tolerance, and transparency

Key Requirements

• Undergraduate Degree in Accounting with 5- 7 years of experience in full sets of accounting handling whole entity and/or country

• Strong knowledge in US GAAP and IFRS is a must, with good understanding of financial controls, SOX, Corporate Governance and risk management

• P roficient knowledge on statutory reporting, corporate tax and VAT

• Good working knowledge of Excel, SAP & One Stream

• Good understanding of financial controls, SOX, Corporate Governance and risk management;
