The role of the Sales Specialist: Membrane and Diagnostic is focussed on working with the OEM Sales team in finding and developing opportunities in the US - OEM Membrane Diagnostic market. The ideal candidate will have first hand, expert knowledge and experience of our technology or the field or application, or ideally both.

The ideal candidate will drive funnel growth in such US market segments as Drug Delivery devices in Biotech or membrane technology in Diagnostic space. The Sales Specialist: OEM Membrane and Diagnostic will spend much of their time with our customers, understanding their needs and processes, and ultimately identifying opportunities for Pall deliver best in class solutions that will ensure our customers’ success.

The individual who fills this role will develop and manage growth opportunities in the sales funnel and deploy Danaher Business Systems tools and processes to solve complex business problems and drive further growth through business development.

We work in a collaborative and supportive environment with an engaged team, who are focused on and committed to achieving and exceeding strategic business initiatives and territory goals.

In this role, you will develop an annual Sales/Tactical Growth Plan for the region, implement strategies and execute to your plan to drive growth. You will also develop new customers as well as develop new applications with our existing customers. Bring the voice of the customer back to Pall stakeholders for future product development and enhancement. * Identify, influence and build relationships with key decision-makers. * Continuous nurturing and development of relationships with customer and prospective customers. * Strong ability to articulate Pall’s value proposition with customers. * Showcase our unique technology and solutions, as well as our ability to solve their problems, increase efficiencies and contribute to their delivery of superior products, and thus drive growth in the assigned region. * Remain current on industry news, events, new product launches, trends, mergers, acquisitions etc. * Develop and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders * Responding to customers with urgency * Timely communication and escalation of any product issues. * Attendance on conference calls and meetings. * Remain current with product, market and technical knowledge of existing and new OEM filtration applications, industry trends etc. * Develop and maintain a current sales forecast and execute to forecast. * Optimize CRM with all current information, events, meetings etc. * Arrange and attend educational events (in-servicing, seminars, workshops) and update stakeholders on results. * Maintain a current database of business contacts. * Meet and exceed goals.

* 5 years of industry related sales experience with proven track record of driving growth * B.S. in Life Sciences, Technology or Engineering
