National Service Support Specialist- Near a major airport, traveling up to 80% Specialist Field System Support

The National Service Support Specialist assists with complex technical and business issues in a customer facing role and has the demonstrated ability to influence the overall support of the product. The Specialist provides escalation support of the field service organizations. The National Service Support Specialist participate in the installation and launch of new product releases, including verification of installation, approved modification procedures, and service documentation. Communicate data driven feedback to support efficient root cause investigation to drive process improvement. The specialist will utilize established mentoring SW to provide advanced training both, individually and in group settings. Additionally the specialist will provide leadership on assigned technical initiatives critical to team success, deploying DBS tools, teamwork and planning to deliver results cross-functionally. As a specialist you will communicate and collaborate cross functionally with, field service and sales, marketing, manufacturing, product development, tech support and supply chain. National Service Support Specialist interact with the end user regarding process changes and have the ability to influence the thinking and gaining the acceptance in sensitive situations in a customer facing role. Key Responsibilities * Quality, Compliance and DBS champion in all aspects of the job. * Provide advanced technical and troubleshooting support, both on-site and remote phone support, to field Applications and Hardware Specialists. * Assists in procedure, documentation and technical standards development. * Senior Mentor of field personnel on released systems. * Proactively makes recommendations for future improvements, exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action; and implements those actions accordingly. * Works collaboratively across the business units to build partnerships with OEM, marketing, service, and sales teams to ensure high customer satisfaction. * Provides DBS leadership that engages and leverages necessary support across functions to execute Action Plans for continuous improvement. * Is viewed as a technical leader, self-motivated and team player by peers, co-workers and supervisor(s).

Qualification
Basic Qualifications: * Associates degree required in electronics,IT, or medical technology * Minimum of 8 experience years in diagnostic laboratory field service. * Willing to travel up to 80% of the time on short notice (1 day) Preferred Qualifications: * Bachelor’s degree in electronics preferred * 5 years Applications experience with Beckman Coulter Automation products * Proven ability in written and verbal communication and facilitation skills. * Ability to lead, influence and collaborate across business functions. * Willing and able to work out of home based office. * Proven track record of technical leadership across functions * Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) * Proven methodical problem solver. Proficiency with DBS - PSP preferred. * Valid driver’s license and meets Beckman Coulter safe driver criteria.
