As a Senior Talent Acquisition Sourcer, you will own sourcing strategies and outreach for critical roles within the business. You will work closely with our recruitment community and business leaders to develop and land top talent across our vast portfolio of industry-leading companies in Life Sciences, Diagnostics, Water Quality, and Product Identification.
You should be comfortable interacting with business leaders and not intimidated working with candidates who are rock stars in their fields. Your approach should demonstrate an understanding of how we Help Realize Life's Potential and industry knowledge beyond the basics. You should be comfortable and effective at delivering efficient results in fast-paced and urgent environments.
As a team member, you will own engaging passive talent and encouraging that talent as we find the right opportunities for them. You will articulate career opportunities that engage talent not only for the role you are recruiting but also for Danaher's opportunities that live beyond a new hires’ entry point. You must thrive in the seek and be passionate about networking carefully within the industry to identify the right talent and target companies. You'll cover the basics of recruiting, but more significant, use your technical and business knowledge to develop vital recruiting strategies that will ensure the Best Team Wins far into the future.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Work closely with the recruiters and hiring managers to understand hiring needs, define sourcing strategies, and add market insights to influence outcomes.
Be a specialist on the Danaher businesses and that of the industry and adjacent markets to supply to sourcing strategies.
Research identify and nurture external talent networks that will further progress the company’s talent strategy.
Work both independently and with the Recruiting team to craft search strategies and develop outreach lists that can be used for current and future (opportunistic) roles.
Execute on tactical outreach, referral generation, events, and pipelining efforts and crafting custom outreach and substantial candidate engagement
Own candidate relationships to the point of an in-person interview, and be tightly coordinated into the feedback process during the interview process
Recommend and drive improvements with recruiters and interviewing teams to efficient screen and assess talent
Work with schedulers and recruiters to ensure a remarkable candidate experience.
Track candidate activity and share with internal partners
This role reports directly to the Talent Sourcing Manager.
You will work with Recruiting Leaders as they lead their recruitment and sourcing needs.
Our customers are our recruiting teams, hiring managers, and of course, our candidates. Build and maintain good relationships with these partners is key to your success. In your role, you will need to be able to connect with people at all levels in the organization.
We are looking for:
Five or more years of sourcing/recruiting experience within a biopharmaceutical, biomanufacturing or life sciences environment with emphasis on scientific, technical, and commercial positions
Socially adept and innovative to support hiring goals with a passion for delivering outstanding candidate experience with each and every person
Analytical, ability to collect and synthesize large quantities of data, tell the story and formulate recommendation based on data trends and insights
Proven ability to partner, manage and influence virtually
Experience with in-house Recruiting processes and systems such as Applicant Tracking Systems and CRMs (Workday and Phenom People are strongly preferred)
Intermediate computer skills with proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent amount of relevant work experiences
