Job Summary The Technical Inside Sales Specialist is responsible for supporting field sales, assisting customers with technical inquires such as filter sizing, filter recommendations, and Biotech product information. Specific Duties & Responsibilities • Support field sales efforts by handling customer inquiries and providing product and technical support. • Prepare sales quotations and proposals for direct customers, distributors and direct sales teams. • Prepare Win / Loss analysis by product line to evaluate both territory and product success rate. • Coordinate with internal and external technical resources to support specific customer requests, applications and sales opportunities. • Provide customer feedback to Sales Mgmt. and Marketing. • Prepare weekly and Monthly Activity Reports to assess territory and market conditions. • Travel with field sales personnel to provide technical support.

Qualification
Qualifications • BS in engineering or science with focus in Life Science, Engineering or Business • 1-2 years technical sales experience (business background helpful) • Requires conceptual knowledge of theories, practices and procedures within a discipline • Applies general knowledge of business developed through education or past experience • No supervisory responsibilities; accountable for developing technical contribution • Uses existing procedures to solve standard problems; analyzes information and standard practices to make judgments • Has limited impact on own work team; works within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines. • Work independently with little supervision • Self-starter and a quick learner • Experience in the Biotechnology field would be a plus.
