Description
The primary role of the Scanning Service Technician is fulfillment of glass slide photography services; including orders and requests from customer, Sales Reps, and Company personnel. The ideal candidate for this position is an intelligent self-starter who recognizes and seizes the work requiring attention and will see it through to completion. This individual enjoys providing superior customer service while working well in a collaborative team atmosphere.

Major Responsibilities/List of Responsibilities/Activities/Duties/Tasks/

  • Administrate order fulfillment process for Scanning Services including:
  • Receive slides from Customer
  • Scan Customer slides using Pathology Imaging system
  • Provide electronic version of images to Customer
  • Coordinate shipping/order fulfillment with Sales Operations
  • Provide follow-up support to Customers as needed
  • Participate in ongoing hardware & software training

Qualification

  • Strong experience with PC based software and comfortable with basic data management
  • Well-organized with ability to multitask, prioritize a variety of tasks and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work in an environment requiring independent and at times non standard approaches
  • Customer focused individual who believes in ensuring promises are delivered upon and can foster a climate of trust and cooperation with colleagues and customers

    Desired Skills/Experience

  • Knowledge of anatomical pathology or related biomedical or clinical fields of study

  • Skillful at promoting ideas and interacting positively and with confidence

    Competencies needed for this job

  • Must be able to communicate clearly in English both verbally and written

  • Excellent organization skills and attention to detail
