Veralto
On September 14, 2022, Danaher announced its intention to separate its Environmental & Applied Solutions segment to create an independent, publicly traded company. The new company will be called Veralto and will be comprised of an outstanding collection of market-leading brands in Danaher's Environmental and Applied Solutions (EAS) segment: Hach, ChemTreat, Trojan, OTT HydroMet, and McCrometer from Danaher's Water Quality Platform and Videojet, Esko, X-Rite Pantone and Linx from the Product Identification Platform. The EAS segment generated revenue of approximately $4.8 billion in 2022 and has a global team of approximately 16,000 associates. About The Role

The Environmental Sustainability Leader has a unique opportunity to set strategic, multi-year goals on greenhouse gases, water, and waste and drive achievement toward these goals as we establish a standalone $5B public company. As a key member of the Sustainability Council, they will deploy environmental sustainability goals to senior leaders and track progress across EAS operating companies. The Environmental Sustainability Leader will serve as the principal interface to external ESG ratings firms and will work with the Sustainability Program Manager to ensure accurate reporting of metrics underscoring ESG issues and opportunities for our businesses.
Your Responsibilities
The Environmental Sustainability Leader is responsible for influencing executive stakeholders to strategically advance environmental sustainability targets for the corporation while overseeing an annual ESG ratings program. This individual will identify and deploy best practices in environmental sustainability using DBS while gaining a broad level visibility to operations, product roadmaps, and cross-functional processes across all segments of the corporation.
This position is part of the Sustainability Team and will be located ONSITE in the Waltham, MA area.
Your Experience
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Track market dynamics, changing investor and customer sentiment, science advancements, and sustainability-reporting technology platforms to influence overall sustainability strategy and operational decisions
Manage and maintain annual program for monitoring and engaging with key third party rating firms
Develop and manage methodologies to govern collection, calculation, and auditing of all sustainability-related data
Collaborate with legal, EHS, communications, HR, compliance, risk management, governance, procurement, investor relations, and operating leaders across the organization to collect sustainability data. Collect data, QA/QC and automate processes and procedures to produce ESG Data Summary for annual Sustainability Report.
Champion improvement opportunities to accelerate progress towards goals using DBS.
Your Attributes
The essential requirements of the job include:
BS Chemistry, Environmental Engineering, or related technical discipline
Justified progressive experience in sustainability measurement and reporting systems, e.g., Gensuite, Ecovadis, etc.
Project management experience spanning multiple corporate functions and operating segments
Strong communications skills as evidenced by external presentations, written proposals, reports, and correspondence
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- Serving as primary interface to ESG ratings firms
