Veralto
On September 14, 2022, Danaher announced its intention to separate its Environmental & Applied Solutions segment to create an independent, publicly traded company. The new company will be called Veralto and will be comprised of an outstanding collection of market-leading brands in Danaher's Environmental and Applied Solutions (EAS) segment: Hach, ChemTreat, Trojan, OTT HydroMet, and McCrometer from Danaher's Water Quality Platform and Videojet, Esko, X-Rite Pantone and Linx from the Product Identification Platform. The EAS segment generated revenue of approximately $4.8 billion in 2022 and has a global team of approximately 16,000 associates. About The Role
Reporting to the VP of Tax, the Executive Assistant will be located onsite in Waltham, MA.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Executive Assistant's key responsibility is to support and advise the Vice President - Tax on projects, processes, and various business-related activities. By building collaborative relationships with internal and external groups, including global teams in the United States, Canada, Europe, APAC, and LATAM, the Executive Assistant will be the primary support on everything administrative including, but not limited to, coordinating meeting events and schedules, managing travel arrangements, managing calendars, and expense reporting. In addition, the Executive Assistant will prepare presentation materials for use in various meetings involving the leadership team and others within the organization. This role will require onsite presence in Waltham, MA.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Heavy calendar management - coordinating all aspects of the VP’s schedule, including a high volume of complex domestic and international travel arrangements; understanding the VP’s needs and working to meet those needs along with those of the global tax organization
Planning and coordination of management meetings including preparation of agendas, presentations, minutes, communication with presenters, and follow-up actions
Acting as the point of contact between the VP and internal or external colleagues
Handling correspondence directed to the VP
Managing and processing monthly expense reports and purchase requests
Finding ways to improve processes and implementing those solutions to create standard work
Working on special projects as needed for the global tax organization
Planning and organizing team events, meetings, and employee team-building activities both internally and offsite
Successful lead project teams and drive collaboration without authority
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
5+ years supporting high-level executives
Prior supervisory experience is helpful but not required
