We are looking for a seasoned Instructional Designer, to design and develop learning experiences for our customers and associates alike. The goal is to enable users to acquire knowledge, skills and competencies around Radiometer’s products and services in an effective and engaging manner. This is a remote position, where you will be physically working in Poland and reporting to the global headquarters of Radiometer, located in Copenhagen, Denmark.
Meet your department
You will join a newly established and results-oriented department within Radiometer overseeing both internal (associate) and external (customer) training. You will be part of a small, agile and high-energy team alongside two other colleagues, all with experience within different facets of training and reporting to the Customer Experience & Training Director. Placed under Global Marketing, this is a team actively interfacing and collaborating across all departments and geographies that make up Radiometer.
Your responsibilities summed up
Utilize principles of instructional design in course development projects
Apply different adult learning styles and modalities to curriculum design
Design content delivered via classroom, video, e-learning, webinars, podcasts and other distance and self-paced or on-demand learning methods
Create supporting material/media (audio, video, simulations, role plays, games etc.)
Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to gather requirements and define learning objectives
Develop exercises and activities that enhance the learning process
Manage training content and access via LMS
The position will give you an opportunity to create a positive, unique learning experience and bring to life Radiometer’s customer training program to thousands of customers and associates around the world. Under normal circumstances, you can expect 10 % travel activity.
We believe that a BS or MA degree in instructional design, educational technology or similar related discipline can be relevant for this role. Furthermore, the following competencies strengthen your position to qualify for the job:
Three plus years of proven working experience in instructional design and with instructional technology
Excellent knowledge of learning theories and instructional design models
Lesson and curriculum planning skills
Basic HTML and Flash programming knowledge
Solid knowledge of course development software and at least one Learning Management System
Visual design skills (Photoshop, Illustrator) and ability to storyboard
Ability to write effective copy, instructional text, audio scripts/video scripts
Ability to organize and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Must be self-motivated, creative, collaborative and enjoy meeting demands of a fast-paced organization
Fluent in written and oral English
