Must possess “systems-level thinking” and be able to present complex scientific concepts in a simplified and visual way to executives.
Develop and execute the early “incubation/feasibility” stage of new opportunities, either through internal Operating Company R&D partnerships or via external collaborations with academics and/or open innovation partners. “Pitch” the innovation from “incubator stage” to respective Danaher Operating Company “catchers” and toggle between strategic and tactical as needed to ensure successful handoff.

Other external alliances may include cultivating relationships with government funding and/or open innovation tech startup company leadership.
