The Sales Specialist for Leica Biosystems is responsible for developing and executing a successful sales strategy for rapid revenue growth and market share expansion in the assigned territory. You will work collaboratively with sales and service counterparts to achieve Leica Biosystems performance targets and exceed customer expectations.

This position is part of the Advanced Staining team located in VA/MD/DC and will be fully remote based in the territory. At Leica Biosystems, our vision is to advance cancer diagnostics and improve lives.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual product sales goals set for the territory Work in coordination with local team

  • Maintain and ensure accurate and timely prospects and customer data in Salesforce.com

  • Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through delivery of sales and support assistance

  • Coordinate product demos, installs, and customer training when require Install/set-up & train when necessary instrumentation in customer laboratories and perform demonstrations.

    The essential requirements of the job include:

  • BA/BS Degree required

  • Minimum 3-5 years relevant sales (or equivalent) experience.

  • Capital Equipment preferred.

  • Experience with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

  • Salesforce preferred.
