Description
The Talent Management Generalist is a key member of Danaher’s global Talent Management Team. The Talent Management team is responsible for talent planning (performance management, talent and organizational reviews, succession planning and internal movement), employee engagement, leadership development, learning and organization development and effectiveness. The team enables the organization to retain and deploy the best talent to grow our business.

Scope of Role:

The role of Talent Management Generalist will play a vital role in supporting execution excellence, continuous improvement and measurement of global and enterprise-wide talent processes and programs. Key process execution will include annual performance management, development planning, engagement and our leadership pipeline growth, while program sustainment may include a variety of initiatives currently in place. The role is also responsible for managing the logistics behind our Talent and Engagement networks across the business.

This role will collaborate closely with the Talent Program Manager and other functional leads including the HR Communications team, as well as be a critical point of contact for our Operating Company HR Teams. Additionally, the Talent Generalist will be a liaison to our existing Talent process vendors.
* * Key Responsibilities

  • In partnership with the Program Manager and other key functional leads, support execution excellence of global Talent processes and programs deep into the organization by:
  • Scheduling and managing training sessions.
  • Leading the logistics of our Talent and Engagement Networks, both remote and face-to-face meetings.
  • Leading the support desk for our Engagement Survey process.
  • Collecting and managing key data from the operating companies vital to the execution of our processes and programs.
  • Supporting voice of customer initiatives to drive input and continuous improvements to processes and programs.
  • Support the team’s ability to execute with excellence by:
  • Managing all vendors relationships.
  • Managing the team’s budget and meeting schedule.
  • Working closely with the Talent team to identify innovative ways to continue to grow and support the Talent function.

Qualification
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: * Project and program management – ability to plan, identify, coordinate and track critical activities, milestones and deliverables with strong organizational skills and attention to detail. * Process improvement and systems thinking – a track record of utilizing continuous improvement methodology as a business practice. * Influence and negotiation – ability to present ideas effectively, represent the best interests of all stakeholders, guide discussions, shift thinking, enable stakeholders to express concerns and goals, propose best path forward and drive alignment at all levels of the organization, including at the senior levels. * Innovative and proactive problem-solving skills –with the ability to exercise integrity and sound judgment in complex and ambiguous situations.
* Multinational experience – experience working across cultures and geographies in a highly matrixed, fast-moving global organization. * Superior customer service orientation * Initiative to work independently and within a dynamic team environment.

*Education & Experience: * * Bachelor Degree in Business, Human Resources or Communications. * 3 years professional Human Resources, Marketing, Product Management or Communications experience * 3 years Program/Project Management experience * Demonstrated experience creating and driving clear, effective processes to support outcome delivery
