The R&D Electronics Engineer for Beckman Coulter is responsible for commercial product support, sustainment, and continuous improvement; as well as new product development activities for the Microbiology portfolio of medical devices and peripherals.
This position is part of the Microbiology Operating Company nested within Beckman Coulter and is located in West Sacramento, CA. At Microbiology, our vision is to ensure we that every patient has access to the right antibiotic at the right time as one of the leading in vitro diagnostic companies!

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Support Electronics Sustainment projects due to end-of-life, Supplier Closures, and RoHS
Investigate and evaluate product enhancements
Develop and qualify new products
Participate in cross-functional team to enhance our products and processes.
Learn and apply industry leading business tools from our parent company, Danaher.
The essential requirement of the job include:
Education: BS in Electrical Engineering & 2+ years demonstrated ability developing and sustaining electro-optical, electro-mechanical systems for commercial products. or proven experience with Masters
Teamwork: Able to coordinate independent work and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Regulations: Committed to work within the procedures for medical device design controls.
