The Global Commercial Marketing Manager - Microbiology is responsible for product promotion and new product commercialization. They will be responsible for developing and executing customer centric strategies to drive growth of existing products and successful market entry of new products. They will partner with Product Management, Regional Sales and Scientific Affairs to drive global growth across the entire portfolio.
This position belongs to Microbiology Operating Company nested within Beckman Coulter and is located in West Sacramento, CA. This position can also be remote based.
At Microbiology as one of the world’s leading ID/AST companies, our vision is to ensure that every patient has access to the right antibiotic treatment at the right time. You will be an integral part of the Global Marketing team and report to the Sr Director, Marketing for Microbiology.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Drive planning and execution of new product commercialization
Conduct competitive analysis and market research to drive growth
Develop strong relationships with industry experts and customers
Develop marketing strategies to ensure effective market positioning and sales success
Drive development and production of marketing and sales materials
Utilize DBS to improve commercial execution
Act as a consultant to sales and regional downstream marketing
The essential requirements of the job include:
Bachelor’s degree in Life Science, Engineering, or Business, or a related field with 9 +years of proven experience or a master’s degree with 7 + years of experience.
Work experience should include portfolio market planning that integrates assays, hardware, software and automation into a customer workflow solution
Ability to travel (domestic and internationally)
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Experience in Microbiology (Clinical Diagnostics and Clinical Microbiology)
Experience working in a Healthcare regulated Product Development and Sales environment, e.g., FDA, IVD
