What you’ll do
A team leader is someone who provides guidance, instruction, direction, and leadership to a group of individuals (the production line team) for the purpose of achieving a key result or group of aligned results.
Ensure EHS procedures are being followed and concerns/ideas are being escalated
Optimize production and material flow
Ensure products are built with high quality and our QMS is being followed
Check for equipment and process start-up readiness and control
Escalates production andons/abnormalities in real-time, performs level 1 troubleshooting and problem solving
Trains and up-skills the production team
Confirms quality of product & documentation – conducts routine checks, ensures documentation for quality/scrap is captured
Assists in set-ups and changeovers when necessary (LOTO certified)
Ensures parts & materials are supplied to the line for the current job, ensures signals are sent correctly, and excess parts are documented appropriately
May lead shift handover or act as shift lead in the absence of a Group Lead
