What you’ll do

  • Lead digital systems development and integration initiatives in Cytiva’s Westborough and Shrewsbury manufacturing sites.

  • Perform in this digital problem solver role where you’ll be working on a wide range of challenges developing data orchestration and workflow automation applications for industrial processes with a mix of cloud and on-prem components.

  • Work closely with Danaher Business System (DBS) Leaders to identify need for automation tools to improve safety, reduce product cost and/or improve product quality.

  • Develop low footprint, in-house tools using full-stack development frameworks to assist operational excellence team’s digital improvement projects

  • Develop and update PowerBi and Qlik dashboards for lean operations visibility.

  • Perform Voice of Customer and write software PRD for application development.

  • Ensure early focus on computerized system validation through use of QMS and NPI processes.

  • Seek early understanding of system architecture, EHS risks, regulatory risks, and training needs. Plan activities to address these needs in timely manner.

  • Take a structured approach on project execution using agile methodologies. Lead accurate and timely completion of documents required for each milestone review.

  • Highlight Risks related to Safety, Cost, Lead Time, Business Continuity and Compliance to Project Management Team.

  • Perform duties of, and assist system administrator to manage on-prem and cloud servers

Who you are

  • B.S. Degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Computer Science and 4 year of relevant experience or Master’s degree in Engineering with 2 years of relevant experience.

  • Experience with PL/SQL, Python, ETL on AWS, workflow automation application development and web frameworks

  • Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems and/or with configuring automation equipment, installation and maintenance desired

  • Knowledge of business intelligence tools – PowerBi, Qlik, QuickSight

  • Knowledge of Industrial Automation Tools including DCS, PLC, and HMI

  • System administrator experience managing small to medium footprint server farms and applications

  • Excellent problem-solving abilities using analytical and logical thinking skills

  • Six Sigma Green Belt or exposure to lean six sigma tools

  • Good analytical and planning skills.

  • Understanding of QA-QC and testing procedures.

  • Agile development experience
