Danaher Corporation Director, Commercial Project Management in Westborough, Massachusetts
The Director, Commercial Project Management will be an essential leader in driving revenue growth, sales efficiency and transformational commercial initiatives within Pall Biotech. They will leverage a breadth of professional experience to collaborate with both internal and external partners to define and implement effective sales management solutions. They will partner with the VP of Commercial Operations and Business Enablement to provide strategic and operational guidance to the global Commercial team to improve commercial effectiveness throughout the customer buying journey.
Provide overall support for the definition and implementation of all commercial processes, policies, and programs to drive sales effectiveness, enablement, and productivity.
Lead strategic project planning and goal setting. Provide project management oversight and prioritization of high-profile, critical projects impacting the global commercial team.
Serve as a strong DBS champion for the global commercial team; mentor and coach sales strategy and project management.
Drive Kaizen activity and other special projects to increase sales force productivity and efficiency; partner with DBS office to populate and manage a Kaizen funnel; establish and maintain portfolio visualization tools/dashboards to provide visibility to project progress and sustainment.
Ensure adoption of and continuous improvement in usage of CRM commercial tools as Pall migrates to SFDC; identify and prioritize investments in enabling technologies in support of sales organization productivity
Own the sales management innovation funnel via continuous benchmarking of Danaher and external best practices; drive adaptation and adoption within Pall Biotech
Support sales and Pall senior leadership for ad-hoc strategic and/or cross-functional projects
Bachelor’s Degree in Life Science, Economics or Business Administration
Extensive DBS background
PMP certification desirable
7+ years of experience in commercial disciplines such as marketing or sales in a B2B environment
Exceptional capability of building followership and executing projects across functions, cultures, and level of seniorities
High level of commercial acumen
Experience of working within a global, multi-cultural, matrix organization
Travel expectation = 25-30%
