Our job is to supply the tools and services - the pots, pans, soups and sauces - they need to work better, faster and safer, leading to better patient outcomes.What you’ll doThe Manufacturing Quality and Inspection Technician performs incoming product inspection of finished products, assemblies and compounds for good manufacturing/laboratory practices (GMP/GLP) to verify product meets specifications and are free of damage or defects.Documenting/Recording Information -Entering, transcribing, recording, storing, or maintaining information in written or electronic form.Creating certificate packages for finished products, using certificates for raw materials.Analyzing Data or Information -Identifying the underlying principles, reasons, or facts of information by breaking down information or data into separate parts.Provide Consultation and Advice to Others -Providing guidance and expert advice to management or other groups on technical, systems-, or process-related topics.Coordinating the Work and Activities of Others -Getting members of a group to work together to accomplish tasks.Verify conformance to specifications and protocols and report outcomes.Mark items with details such as grade and acceptance or rejection status.Comply with EHS regulations & policies.Who you areAssociates degree, or a High School diploma and 2 years technical experienceProficiency to understand and interpret basic written technical informationProficiency in Microsoft SuiteStrong verbal communication skills.Desired Characteristics:Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Engineering or Technology related fieldsProficiency to logically troubleshoot at subsystem and system level, using identifiable problem-solving techniques.Ability to draw accurate conclusions from test data, malfunctions, or deviations, and assist with corrections to the existing design or process.Demonstrated ability to work well with limited direction and information.Demonstrated strong communication skills.Basic understanding of PLC and automation related software (Wonderware, Rockwell PLC, Delta V).Basic understanding of computer networking principles.Basic understanding of electrical diagrams and/or electrical systems experience.Quality Specific Goals:Knowledge and understanding of Stop Orders, Concessions, Deviations, ESD, Calibration, Preventative Maintenance, Material Identification & Segregation, documentation configuration control practices; documentation & disposition of non-conforming material, and Good Documentation Practices requirements, as associated with this job type/positionAware of and comply with the Cytiva Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/positionComplete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlinesIdentify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as requiredTraining: Aware of and comply with Cytiva training requirementsCoordinating the Work and Activities of Others -Getting members of a group to work together to accomplish tasks.Scheduling Work and Activities -Scheduling events, programs, and activities, as well as the work of others.Training and Teaching Others -Identifying the training needs of others, training programs and teaching or instructing others.
