  • The Manufacturing Quality and Inspection Technician performs incoming product inspection of finished products, assemblies and compounds for good manufacturing/laboratory practices (GMP/GLP) to verify product meets specifications and are free of damage or defects.

  • Documenting/Recording Information -Entering, transcribing, recording, storing, or maintaining information in written or electronic form.

  • Creating certificate packages for finished products, using certificates for raw materials.

  • Analyzing Data or Information -Identifying the underlying principles, reasons, or facts of information by breaking down information or data into separate parts.

  • Provide Consultation and Advice to Others -Providing guidance and expert advice to management or other groups on technical, systems-, or process-related topics.

  • Coordinating the Work and Activities of Others -Getting members of a group to work together to accomplish tasks.

  • Verify conformance to specifications and protocols and report outcomes.

  • Mark items with details such as grade and acceptance or rejection status.

  • Comply with EHS regulations & policies.

Who you are

  • Associates degree or higher, or a High School diploma and 2 years technical experience

  • Proficiency to understand and interpret basic written technical information

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite

  • Strong verbal communication skills.

  • Proficiency to logically troubleshoot at subsystem and system level, using identifiable problem-solving techniques.

  • Ability to draw accurate conclusions from test data, malfunctions, or deviations, and assist with corrections to the existing design or process.

  • Demonstrated ability to work well with limited direction and information.

  • Demonstrated strong communication skills.

  • Basic understanding of PLC and automation related software (Wonderware, Rockwell PLC, Delta V).

  • Basic understanding of computer networking principles.

  • Basic understanding of electrical diagrams and/or electrical systems experience.

  • Knowledge and understanding of Stop Orders, Concessions, Deviations, ESD, Calibration, Preventative Maintenance, Material Identification & Segregation, documentation configuration control practices; documentation & disposition of non-conforming material, and Good Documentation Practices requirements, as associated with this job type/position

  • Aware of and comply with the Quality Management System and Policy

  • Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines

  • Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required

  • Training: Aware of and comply with Cytiva training requirements

  • Coordinating the Work and Activities of Others -Getting members of a group to work together to accomplish tasks.

  • Scheduling Work and Activities -Scheduling events, programs, and activities, as well as the work of others.

  • Training and Teaching Others -Identifying the training needs of others, training programs and teaching or instructing others.
