What you’ll do
The Operations Training Specialist will have responsibilities including oversight of new employee onboarding and training, developing training resources and documents, coordinating and facilitating training. The Training Specialist may also have responsibilities including manufacturing, distribution, assembly, basic testing, packaging, and shipping of products. In addition, the person in this position is responsible to have specialized knowledge, skills, and abilities relating to all operations related processes and procedures. Additional responsibilities include:
Assist with identifying and assessing knowledge and skill gaps within the organization.
Assist with creation of curriculums, training materials and testing materials for employees, including eCourses, ITL and videos
Write and edit technical and procedural documents such as work instruction documents, standardized work, training aids, user guides and/or facilitator manuals, etc.
Actively search, creatively design and implement effective methods to train and educate employees in order to enhance performance.
Update and maintain training schedules and compliance matrix.
Coordinate logistics of training events including vendors, instructors, participants, rooms, materials and equipment.
Facilitate, instruct, present and/or assess various training programs and employee evaluations.
Maintain and track all training records to ensure company compliance.
Effectively track, evaluate and analyze training programs by examining learner’s satisfaction, proficiency testing and job performance.
Continuously improve training based on participant feedback and latest trends in learning and development.
Audit various processes for adherence to standards and/or participate in customer audits.
Utilize the Learning Management System (LMS) to track and deliver training courses.
Successfully master and utilize “Training Within Industry” and “Train-the-Trainer” methodologies.
Follow work procedures and schematics including complex instructions regarding duties to be performed.
Comply with EHS regulations and policies.
Strong organizational and planning skills. Attention to detail.
Experience and ability to prioritize work, quickly change/adapt to changes and multi-task.
Ability to perform in a fast-paced, goal oriented and time-sensitive environment.
Able to work independently ad complete basic problem solving
Other duties as assigned by the manager and may be asked to be included in quality activities and employee activity teams.

Demonstrates effective coaching skills
High school diploma/GED or local equivalent (Associates / Technical degree or above preferred)
Minimum 1 year of experience in single use manufacturing, biopharmaceutical manufacturing or similar industry.
Ability to communicate, receive, understand and follow instructions regarding duties to be performed
Demonstrated ability to detail and quality-minded work habits
Demonstrated ability to communicate with co-workers and leadership across the organization
Willingness to learn
Ability to work flexible shifts (flex within day shift, nights or weekends)
Ability to lift 50+ pounds on a regular basis
