The Product Life Cycle Manager will have accountability for managing all existing product pricing, coordinating with sales and product managers to assess price increases based on market dynamics and internal cost drivers, and track success of the pricing increases throughout the year. They will Work with operations on handling stock levels to improve speed of delivery to customers and holding efficient stock levels (ATO/MTO). They will work with the product managers to plan out and execute yearly rationalization of products to drive portfolio profitability, devising strategies to reduce stock levels when a surplus is identified for products that will be made obsolete or move customers to equivalent products with stronger margins.
The Product Life Cycle Manager will work closely with the web team to ensure product attributes, product content and the customer buying journey remain up to date and optimized on Pall.com and Shop.com. They will work closely with the product managers to develop sales training, sales support tools and gather feedback from sales on customer trends and competitive actions.
Act as the price champion for the Lab business utilizing the current pricing templates and standard workbooks. Work with teams to analyze current pricing versus market to assess true value of products in the market and recommend price increases for each mini-market and region. Manage the communication of the prices increases and ensure they are fully implemented following a clear timeline.
Obsolescence and cost optimization
Responsible for leading the product life cycle, they need to supervise the full cycle once a product is launched, continually monitoring pricing and margins, identify potential areas for COGS savings and following the accurate steps to discontinue, rationalize or obsolete products.
The Product Life Cycle Manager needs to work closely with the digital teams to identify and correct mistakes in the customer navigation and website entering and tracking them in Zoho, ensure all SKU pages have the correct attributes and associated content (PDFs, datasheets, certificates, claims), make suggestions to the product managers on content gaps and how they can be addressed, strengthen PPC and SEO.
The Senior Associate Product Manager will work with the product managers and sales to build out sales support tools (product catalog, flyers, product playbooks, competitive comparisons). They will keep customer-facing power up to date. They will help with the organization of trade shows and the movement of samples and products to the trade shows.
Leads product life cycle management, managing existing products pricing and rationalization of Product Line to drive portfolio profitability.
Analyze qualitative and quantitative data gathered from various sources to advise product decisions. Analyze competition.
Actively tracks and analyzes website content and ensures product information is up to date and correct
Familiar with data analysis tools and methods to generate useful insights from data gathered from users
Mange year over year pricing and recommend pricing increases/changes to the sales territory leaders. Work with distribution managers to implement price changes.
Manage SKU rationalization to ensure all products that have no sales or very low margin are made obsolete.
Margin expansion incl. price
Resolve AOS and MTO products and levels
Owns ensuring product attributes are accurate on web
Makes correction to minor errors on AEM site through PIMS
Develops basic sales tools
Managing tradeshow samples and displays

Experience in Life Sciences
1-2 years of experience in the field
Excel experience essential
SAP a plus (but will be trained)
