Danaher Corporation Vice President of Internal Communications in Westborough, Massachusetts
The Vice President of Internal Communications leads strategy, planning and execution of Pall’s Internal Communications program to engage associates and ensure alignment to the Pall business strategy and key business priorities. Reporting to the Vice President of Marketing, this position partners with senior leaders to cultivate a robust, transparent approach to internal communications that cultivates information sharing, collaboration, and trust.
Essential Job Functions
Supports Pall Senior Leadership Team and guides various functional campaigns providing consultation on communication needs and best business practices. Supports content development and manages distribution for all business communications via designated vehicles (e.g., intranet, email, video, surveys/polls).
Sets the strategy for and delivers Pall Life Science’s global internal communications program and ecosystem, including the Pall Connect intranet, video channels, yammer and all other online communication vehicles, in partnership with IT.
Establishes the annual communications work plan for all internal global campaigns and initiatives. Leads communications editorial planning board and directs all aspects of the editorial calendar.
Reviews and approves the process for Pall Communications’ vehicles and global campaigns. Is the subject matter expert to ensure functional communications are compelling and accessible to all intended and specified audiences and aligned to brand standards.
Partner with social media teams on our communications strategy and organizational goals to reinforce our strategic direction, highlight programs, services, community outreach and accomplishments in alignment with our brand and Employee Value Proposition.
Manages the relationship with Danaher’s internal communication leaders, tracking internal communications activities at the Danaher Corporate level.
Develops, executes and tracks internal communications metrics to ensure targets are aligned with organizational strategy and objectives.
Maintains Standard Work and incorporate the latest technologies and standard methodologies to amplify communications and improve current practices.
Develops strategies to drive traffic to and improve usage of Pall Corporate Communications vehicles, such as internal social media (Yammer) and intranet (Pall Connect).
Manages external vendors and contractors to ensure commitments are met and spending stays within budget guidelines.
Serves as the Pall Life Sciences Engagement Survey Champion, to include alignment with Danaher timelines, Senior Leader action planning, execution and reporting.
Responsible for talent management to ensure the continued development for direct reports. Partner closely with the human resources organization in developing organizational capabilities through succession planning, organizational assessment, identification of key skill gaps, talent acquisition and talent development strategies that link with business goals.
Build trusted relationships with your team members; Understand what they value and support them in achieving their development goals. Mentor the team to enhance their network and identify ambitious / stretch roles or projects to support career progression.
Up to 25% travel.

Education and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, English Literature or Communications preferred.
Experience in managing, partnering and supervising contract agencies, vendors, intranet, social media, and aligning messaging to Employee Value Propositions.
The ability to articulate Pall’s vision and strategy so that associates are inspired and motivated to focus their energy on achieving business goals.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise good judgment.
Hands-on approach, flexible, adaptable, delivering results in tight time frames and within tight deadlines, and with a high attention to detail.
Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.
Capable of supporting open, consistent internal communications with staff at all levels of the organization create and support a healthy workplace culture.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, including outstanding ability to present in a clear and concise manner.
Maintains knowledge of emerging technologies, trends in Communications, and business skill set through continuing education.
