Danaher Corporation Commercial Operations Manager DACH in Wetzlar, Germany
This position can be Home Based in Germany.
The Commercial Operations Manager DACH supports the sales team by providing administrative and interpersonal assistance.
He/She provides bid generation support, handles and maintains sales funnel (forecasting), facilitates communication and sponsors department meetings.
He/She Communicates with vendors and customers and arranges for third party inspections.
He/She tracks sales critical metrics using software tools to improve the accuracy of the sales funnel and forecast.
He/She tracks performance against metrics and performs sales incentive calculations.
Pricing, Quotes & Contracts management
Responsible for the coordination and documentation of all contract matters that go beyond the Leica Biosystems standard terms and conditions
Lead timely and profitable execution of large projects
Own the quote approvals process as last regional step of the LOA chain (Level of approval)
Perform margin calculations
Identify risk and compliance of terms and conditions outlined in tender / contractual agreements. Compliance and Financial auditing – to ensure compliance with particular reference to SOX and Danaher guidelines regular
Develop and implement financial weekly / monthly / annual reporting for customer accounts
Support regional teams and EMEA marketing with ANSP and price realization analysis monthly
Coordinate the DACH forecasting process by preparing worksheets in close cooperation with the Customer Care and Sales department
Coordinate and prepare the weekly forecasting calls with the Sales Managers and consolidate the DACH forecast
Provide the DACH forecast to the EMEA Cluster Director in a timely fashion
Prepare and update monthly actuals reports (Orders, Revenue), RunRate trends
Prepare monthly forecast worksheets for EMEA regional roll-up
Provide regions with actuals update (backlog, orders, revenue) as part of weekly forecasting process
Bachelor’s Degree preferred Reporting and Root-Causing the Price Realization as part of the ownership of the critical metric
Funnel & Marketing
Perform and maintain funnel dashboards in SFDC
Develop tools for aligning SFDC in instrument forecasting process
- Supporting the Sales Unit in ad-hoc questions
Desired skills and experience
Fluency in German and English language is required
Strong analytical skills and strong proficiency in Excel is required
Medical Devices confirmed experience preferred
Tenacious, Self-starting, Shows initiative
Excellent interpersonal skills
Strong standout colleague, able to work closely with Finance and Sales teams
Excellent English language skills, both verbal and written
Able to work in cross functional and remote teams
Experienced level on BW, SAP and Excel
- Bachelor or Master Degree in Economics or equivalent
