We currently offer the following position in our office in Wetzlar, Germany which will be hybrid with 3 days in the office and 2 days mobile work.
Global Market Manager (d/f/m) - Applied Solutions
Come and join a fantastic team! As part of the Global Life Science & Applied Solution Business Unit, you will be responsible for the global growth of the applied market segment. The responsibilities are the development of the market strategy ensuring alignment with the associated marketing programs and delivering their successful implementation in collaboration with global marketing, the campaign team and in accordance with the brand strategy. You will also take the lead for developing the corresponding market value proposition and marketing launch plan of all new applied products, in collaboration with Product Management & Business Excellence teams.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Define and identify target segments of Applied market and analyze market trends using relevant data and insights
Drive benchmarking by analyzing the portfolio performance and offering vs competition
Understanding of customer needs and general workflows from the insights of BU (Business Unit) and RU (Regional Units) as well as KOL (e.g. Customer Insights, sales funnel analysis)
Development of strategy(s) based on a fact/data-based approach including te market, marketing plan, pricing and “go to market” strategies for the segment(s) and its products and services
Develop marketing plans and campaigns for corresponding market segments, including setting budgets, targets and timelines aligned with all internal stakeholders and ensuring execution in regions against KPIs
YOUR PROFILE
Degree in business administration with a focus on marketing or a similar qualification
Several years’ experience in Marketing/ Product Management of a global company preferably in a related industry to Applied market segment and with successful experience in developing strategies
Experience in sales and/or direct sales support
Track record of success in developing and introducing Growth Initiatives
Experience in Market Research in a B2B environment; Planning and conducting market research activities (quantitative and qualitative) and/or market observation is an advantage
Fluent in English. German is a plus
