The Director, Global Engineered Systems (f/m/d) is responsible for global leadership and management of the Applications, Engineering; Project Management, Commissioning, and Supply Chain group for our Food and Beverage project systems team. Based on site in Bad Kreuznach (greater Frankfurt), you will be working with sales colleagues and customers to ensure that appropriate complex hardware and consumable solutions are provided with the right technologies and fit for purpose. Your expertise will play a part in positioning Pall as the preferred supplier for process engineering solutions in the Food & Beverage industry.

Leading a multidisciplinary and multicultural team that spans geographies, you will lead and managing the leads qualification process and subsequent quoting process as well as project execution for all system solutions supplied globally. You will also ensure our systems are delivered to the customer to specification, on time and within budget.

This position is part of the Food & Beverage business unit and will be Hybrid with office location in Bad Kreuznach (greater Frankfurt).

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Be responsible for the Global Engineered Systems Food & Beverage organization;

• Have direct responsibility for technical approval of project quotations;

• Seek out, evaluate and define new innovative filtration separation and purification solutions for our customers.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• A proven track record of excellent people leadership and management skills

• A good understanding of manufacturing and sourcing processes.

• Proven project management and process engineering skills.

• The ability to communicate effectively on complex technical / engineering issues at all levels in a multi-cultural environment.

• Analytical thinking – strong problem solving skills.

• Commercial acumen and understanding of the sales process for capital equipment projects and how they link to consumable sales.

• The ability to work closely with the sales organisation to achieve corporate goals and ensure capacity is managed in accordance with the required market demands.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• The food & beverage industry

• Leading multi-disciplinary engineering teams in multi-cultural environments.

• A demonstrable track record in a leading position in the field of filtration, separation and purification.
