Description

Summary :Digitally prepares, manipulates, and prints digital scans submitted electronically from doctors for orthodontic appliances.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities : include the following: (Other duties may be assigned)

  • Use Ortho Analyzer and 3D Manager software to manipulate and print .STL files

  • Evaluate digital scans for quality; contacts customer service with unacceptable files.

  • Sends electronic confirmation when requested from doctor.

  • Compiles print files for layout on print trays.

  • Removes, cleans, and identifies resin models after print cycle is completed.

  • Communicates work flow issues such as backlog and delays in productivity to supervisor and/or team members.

  • Gathers and reports the following data: WIP (files and models), raw materials inventory.

  • Prioritizes cases for production based on deadlines or business commitments.

  • Performs daily/weekly/monthly PM’s on equipment. Records PM activity on required log sheets.

· Education/Experience :

o High School Diploma or equivalent

o One to three years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

o Previous experience with 3Shape Ortho Analyzer, 3D Manager software or other digital printing software preferred.

· Language Ability :

o Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, customer special instructions, and procedure manuals.

o Ability to communicate effectively within department or co-workers and supervisor(s).

o Ability to perform these functions in English.

· Reasoning Ability :

o Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.

o Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

· Computer Skills :

o Working knowledge of Windows based operating system.

o Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

o Familiarity with 3Shape Ortho Analyzer, 3D Manager software or other digital printing software preferred.

· Supervisory Responsibilities :- None; no supervisory skills required
