Product Identification Platform

WITHIN THE ROLE
Danaher is looking for a Business Development professional to contribute to the M&A buildout of its $4B+ Environmental and Applied Solution Business comprised of Product Identification and other Environmental, Water, and Industrial Software verticals. The Director, Business Development will specifically drive inorganic strategy and oversee deals for the EAS Segment . With a strong M&A track record of over 15 deals per year, over $4B in annual free cash flow and a strong balance sheet, Danaher is poised to invest to win.
WITHIN THE KEY OBJECTIVES
Build an M&A funnel with strategic SaaS and SW enabled service businesses through strategic gap analysis and adjacent market work
Assist in aggressively growing the size of the business over the next three to five years through a combination of above-industry organic growth and strategically attractive acquisitions that will deliver strong returns on capital
Cultivate mid- near- and long-term target relationships with acquisition targets
Serve as the due diligence leader in building out markets and target company diligence
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL
Become the expert on adjacent and growth spaces to the EAS Platform through proprietary primary market work
Convince senior Danaher decision makers of market attractiveness
Simplify the complex to enable investment decision making
Partner with Danaher’s Corporate Development team to successfully execute deals
WITHIN THE PREFERRED BACKGROUND
Current domain experience in Software business models including B2B enterprise software, workflow-based SW solutions, or businesses developing / deploying SW to shift to digital business models.
3-5 years in a top-tier consulting firm, an investment firm including PE or VC, or equivalent experience
Top tier MBA
2-5 years’ of corporate experience executing in a non-consulting role
Participated in > 3 closed M&A diligence projects

The salary range for this role is 151K - 250K. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in Colorado. This range may be modified in the future.
T his job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
