Videojet is a large and growing international manufacturer of marking and coding equipment and traceability solutions with >$1B in sales, mostly in hardware and consumables. We have three software-driven businesses we are aiming to consolidate and turn into a long-term strategic growth engine for the enterprise.

We are an industry pioneer in IoT and have made significant and early investments into sensors, connectivity, and data analysis for several years, yielding more than 10,000 cloud-connected devices with remote diagnostics and remote service capabilities.

We use software to manage marking and coding devices centrally within the customers’ plant, enabling customers to automate data transfer, eliminate operator errors and gain visibility into the operation of packaging lines without physical presence. We are making our Software business unit the centerpiece of our competitive advantage.



We are looking for an outstanding Industrial IoT Packaging Thought Leader , who can articulate to, engage and excite customers around the vision for Videojet’s software solutions. These solutions are crafted to enable production engineers and plant management to get more out of their lines, reduce human interaction, and improve visibility across the packaging line as part of their digital factory initiatives.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborate with Customers, Product Management, Sales and Developers to build highly impactful messages to the segmented target audiences that link customers’ needs with distilled value proposition of Videojet’s software and digitally-enabled service offerings

  • Develop compelling campaign content and messaging (e.g. messaging frameworks, case studies, customer presentations, e-books, white papers, videos, blogs) hitting all stages of the marketing and sales funnel.

  • Analyze market position and define ways to boost market share, considering such things as customer segmentation, industry segmentation, and product TCO/return on investment.

  • Define and lead execution of account-based marketing activity on key large accounts

  • Lead social media and industry site presence to engage target customers and build a thought leadership profile

  • Identify metrics and drive regular communication on progress for the Product Marketing and Marketing organization

  • Coordinate and execute lead-gen activities, such as events and webinars, and act as a product promoter and spokesperson

  • Establish, maintain, and leverage relationships with industry analysts, and achieve the highest possible placement in various market reports, rankings and matrices

  • Help secure customer participation in marketing activities and client endorsements for use in marketing materials, advertising, and web sites

  • Create content for sales enablement like technical documents, presentations, product brochures, custom sales documents for specific prospects

  • Lead or assist in a variety of other product and solutions marketing activities related to branding, lead generation and other revenue-related activities

We are looking for a professional with:

  • Ability to quickly prioritize critical few requirements and initiatives to drive revenue

  • Comfort with ambiguity and execution in constantly evolving environment with competing and shifting priorities

  • Initiative to work autonomously, with follow-up and attention to detail

  • Excellent communication, presentation, project management and problem-solving skills are essential

Your Education and/or Background Experience include:

  • 3+ years of marketing experience in a B2B SaaS environment with consistent track record of driving leads and revenue

  • High customer empathy and curiosity to understand customers’ problems: previous experience in CPG and manufacturing packaging is desirable

  • Experience with tools in the marketing technology stack (marketing automation, data analytics, dashboards, web development)

  • Previous direct responsibility for demand generation, campaign execution, conversion rate optimization, e-mail marketing, inbound marketing, and content marketing
